This wiki has been created to support primary learning managers of years 4, 5, 6, and 7 in establishing their classroom set up at the beginning of a new year. Theory and practice will be cited and activities, games and strategies provided to teach students the skills they will need to be successful in your classroom this year.
We are Robyn, Justine, Michelle and Ryan, four Central Queensland University students who are seeking to create a practical and useful resource for classroom teachers who may not know where to start, or classroom teachers who've done it may times before and need some new ideas and inspiration.
The SEL framework that is recommended by Education Queensland for use in primary school settings has been embedded into this resource along with Art Costa's Habits of Mind to ensure a sound resource.
